Cisco Industrial IoT Networking Portfolio
Samuel Pasquier is head of Product Management for the Industrial IoT Networking portfolio within the Enterprise Networking Group (ENG). Based in San Jose, California, he is responsible for working closely with both the sales team and the engineering team to develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the entire industrial IoT Networking portfolio as well as Cisco Fog Computing software solution (IOx).
Samuel has been with Cisco Systems since 2004. Samuel spent 6 years in Catalyst 6500 engineering team, as a Software Technical Leader. He designed, implemented and sustained several key infrastructure features on the platform. With this previous experience, Samuel has a very deep understanding of software development and architecture. Samuel was the product line manager for the Catalyst 6500/6800. He led the team of product managers that completed a full refresh of the Catalyst 6500 Portfolio with the launch of Catalyst 6800.
Prior to his current role, Samuel was leading the team of product managers defining the roadmap for the Catalyst Fixed Access switches Portfolio (Catalyst 2960-X, 3750, 3650 and 3850).
Samuel holds a Master Degree in Computer Science from “Ecole pour l’informatique et les techniques avancees” (EPITA) in France and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from the George Washington University School of Business. As a result of his international background, he is fluent in English and French. He is a regular speaker at network industry events.
